City brings customer services to Scottsdene and Westlake
02 June 2023
The City of Cape Town’s Mobile Office is bringing its
customer relations team to residents to assist with a wide range of municipal
enquiries and service requests. Next week the mobile office will be visiting
Scottsdene and Westlake.
The details are as follows:
- Tuesday, 6 June 2023, from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Scottsdene Hall, Eoan Avenue, Scottsdene, Kraaifontein
- Thursday, 8 June 2023, from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Westlake United Church Trust Hall, 48 Westlake Drive, Westlake
The intention is to take customer services to the communities that are far from municipal facilities. The City's Customer Relations Department's mobile team will assist residents with logging queries and service requests electronically. Customers can engage with the City in a wide range of non-emergency enquiries such as rates, sewerage, electricity, water, refuse collections, and all other account enquiries.
To date, the mobile office team has been very effective in resolving long outstanding queries for residents.
'The City is bringing services to the residents to afford them the opportunity to enquire and to solve issues in the comfort of their own area. I encourage residents to take full advantage of this opportunity and to get the answers that they need about their general municipal matters,' said the City's Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, Alderman Theresa Uys.
